Vancouver Auto Parts sells parts for cars and trucks at three locations, in Surrey, Vancouver and Port Moody. Each one has a parts counter. Tell us the year, make and model, and we’ll find the part that fits.

We stand behind every part we sell. If we can save you money on a part, we will. If it isn’t in stock, it soon will be. To check on a part, call the counter near you or send a parts request and we’ll call you back.

Each location is a repair shop too. Buy the part and fit it yourself, or ask for an estimate and our mechanics will fit it for you.

Returns and warranty

Our parts, tires and wheels are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Ask the counter about the warranty on any part we sell.

Unused parts in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of the invoice date.
Bring the original invoice. No invoice, no refund.
A 20% handling charge applies to returned parts.
Electronic parts can’t be returned. Neither can opened gaskets or other opened packages.
Once a part is installed, it can’t be returned unless the catalogue was wrong. If it was, we cover the cost and replace it with the correct part.
Wheels and tires that have been mounted can’t be returned.
Cores must be assembled and in the original box.
A restocking charge may apply to returns, cancelled orders and special orders.
Any warranty is limited to the amount charged on the invoice.

Questions about parts

How do I know I’m buying the right part?

Tell us the year, make and model of your vehicle before you buy, and we’ll check the fit at the counter. For wheels and tires, ask our team to confirm the fitment. Not sure what you have? Call your nearest counter and we’ll work it out with you.

Can I order parts on this website?

Not on this site. There is no cart or checkout here. Call your nearest parts counter, or send the parts request form with the year, make and model and the part you need. The counter checks stock and fit, then calls you back with a price.

Do you deliver auto parts?

Yes, in Burnaby and Richmond. Burnaby orders usually arrive within a couple of hours. Richmond orders placed before 4:30 pm arrive the same day. We deliver to your home or straight to your mechanic’s shop. At a shop, someone needs to be there to sign for the parts.

Can I return a part?

Unused parts in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days, with the original invoice. A 20% handling charge applies. Electronic parts and opened gaskets can’t be returned. Installed parts can’t be returned either, unless the part was wrong because of a catalogue error.

What warranty comes with the parts?

Our parts, tires and wheels are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Each maker sets its own terms, so the cover is not the same on every part. Ask the counter about the warranty before you buy. If you have a question later, call the location you bought the part from.

What if I buy the wrong part?

Check the fit with us before the part goes on the car. Once a part is installed, it can’t be returned unless the catalogue was wrong. If a catalogue error is the reason it doesn’t fit, we cover the cost and replace it with the correct part.

Can your mechanics install the part I buy?

Yes. Every location has a full-service repair shop as well as a parts counter. Buy the part and fit it yourself, or book the car in and our mechanics will do the work. Ask for an estimate when you call, and we’ll tell you when we can get the car in.

Are OEM parts or aftermarket parts better for my car?

OEM parts are made by, or for, the company that built your car. They match the part it left the factory with. Aftermarket parts come from other makers and do the same job, often for less money. The right pick depends on the car and the part. Ask at the counter.
